My point was that there is nothing to fix ATM:

  $ egrep "mips64|uld|ulw" gas.sum | grep octeon

  PASS: uld2 -EB (octeon)
  PASS: uld2 -EL (default = octeon)
  PASS: uld2 -EL (octeon)
  PASS: MIPS mips64r2-ill (default = octeon)
  PASS: MIPS mips64r2-ill (octeon)

And what happens to these tests on Octeon in the future will depend on the
exact details of Octeon unaligned support.
