Hi Nathan,

I'm sorry for the fall out that my tbss patch caused, however there is a
distinct lack of testcases for these things, and I notice that there is
no testcase for this regression either.  Is there no rule that any fixed
regression must be accompanied by a testcase?

It is not a hard and fast rule. It certainly is encouraged though, as test cases help to improve the overall quality of the toolchain.
