Re: MIPS --version-script problem in old binutils

Oops, my bad. I applied that patch to our 2.10.1 branch. That code already exists in 2.12.1. None the less it isn't working in either case.

I appologize for asking about such old versions but that's what I'm stuck with until I get the time to clean our mips support up for submission.

We're having trouble with the versioning on MIPS in the 2.12.1 binutils. Any binary that uses a versioned shared object dies with a SIGILL. While I'm researching this for myself I figured I'd ask if anyone just happens to remember anything about this.

I've already applied the following patch and it doesn't seem to help.
