Well, a 32-bit only configuration should actually be less error-prone to
signedness issues as an unsigned 32-bit int is expressed at the machine
level the same way as a signed 32-bit int is, which is not the case for a
64-bit configuration. Anyway a 32-bit target doesn't normally need 64-bit
processing, so if there is a problem with a 32-bit only configuration for
MIPS, it'd better be tracked down and fixed, indeed.
