- Subject: v850-elf-as bug in 2.11.2 ?
Hi,
i setup a toolchain, with binutils-2.9.1, gcc-2.95.2 and newlib-1.9.0.
I wrote some software for the NEC v850 and it compile fine.
Now i try to upgrade the binutils, cause i want the new features.
Compiling, and installing of 2.11.2 was no problem.
Now, if i try to compile my software, it fails with crt0.S, a assembler
file.
The error is something like:
gcc internal error. signal 11
If i invoke v850-elf-as crt0.S i get memory fault.
Same command with 2.9.1 works.
BTW: I compiled the binutils with target=v850-elf and a prefix. Maybe
2.11.2
needs additional settings ?
I tried although, the recent cvs version (01312002), but it has the same
failure.
Is it a binutils bug, or a Karsten bug ? :-()
i with kind regards
Karsten make
