True, but in this particular case, this papering-over-the-cracks
solution has been used by lots of ports already (ie there is a
precedent), the correct fix is of medium difficulty to create (which
would make it a potential source of new bugs, plus strictly speaking
it ought to be reworked and re-applied to almost all of the ELF based
BFD targets), and anyway all of these problems will go away (or be
transformed) once Uli's ELF only linker is ready. 

: But it's your decision, so if you want to install it, go ahead.
