From 940c32c5dd5860c9b765984c9216b4adbb822d6a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Peter Rajnoha Date: Tue, 23 Mar 2010 14:43:18 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Strictly require libudev if udev_sync is used. This prevents some confusion when libudev was not found so udev_sync was disabled automatically. Configure was successful though giving only a tiny warning. Also, if "dmsetup udevcreatecookie" is used, never return 0x000000 as a result if udev is not running and keep the output blank. --- WHATS_NEW_DM | 1 + configure.in | 18 +----------------- libdm/libdm-common.c | 19 +++---------------- tools/dmsetup.c | 9 ++------- tools/lvmcmdline.c | 4 ++-- 5 files changed, 9 insertions(+), 42 deletions(-) diff --git a/WHATS_NEW_DM b/WHATS_NEW_DM index 0485b6c43..8716794a8 100644 --- a/WHATS_NEW_DM +++ b/WHATS_NEW_DM @@ -1,5 +1,6 @@ Version 1.02.46 - ================================ + Strictly require libudev if udev_sync is used.
