The impending merge of pr4225 broke symbol-table-only probing.
That code needs some more tweaks to clarify the roles of the
module_cache, func_info, symtab auxiliary structures.

dsmith's recent dwarfless kprobe work does this.
We can still clean up old/unused options like --ignore-vmlinux etc. sometime.
