Commandline interface looks as planned but it is apparently not present in
"frysk-0.0.1.2006.10.02.rh1-1.fc6.i686.rpm".

Just my $0.02 suggesting to provide gdb(1) compatible readline(3) interface.
Not only arbitrary commandline interface but definitely gdb(1) compatible one.
The same way gdb(1) provides dbx(1) compatibility mode (I never saw dbx(1)).
I believe it should be even simple, just for some most common gdb(1) use cases.

This way various more sophisticated interface like ddd(1) could start using
frysk and various less sophisticated users like me and RH customers could also 
start using frysk seamlessly.

Frysk has HPD based command line interface.
