Frysk observer display with white background makes color changes necessary
We can't use yellow as an observer display color with the new white background -
see the attachment.

I eventually plan to switch colouring over to using the current theme colouring
scheme as soon as I figure out how to do that. Apparently some people would
prefer black backgrounds because the colour doesn't bleed. I'm not 100% sure
what bleed means but I guess the point is that colour blind people have special
needs that we shouldn't be imposing on with our own colouring scheme. So this
I finally did switch over to style based background colors and the trace color
is now based on the foreground color.
As for marker/observer colors, I have found that red, blue, green, and orange
seem to be distinguishable foreground colors. I have set these as the colors to
use for observers.
These (as well as white, black and yellow) are defined by the Gdk Color class.
We can always create more colors with different RGB values. Yellow does not
seem to work for most backgrounds (except black).
I will commit this soon and wait for feedback.
