As an extension, when iterating through all threads but there is only one, don't
bother prefixing the output with that thread's focus.  I.e., instead of:
  (fhpd) print i
  [0.0]
  1
   (fhpd)
print:
   (fhpd) print i
   1
   (fhpd)
