Revised locale
Accepting any such special-interest locale would open a flood. There is no reason to have such a locale in glibc. The localedef utility is standardized for a reason: locales can be compiled by anyone. Just create a RPM or whatever which upon installation installs the files and compiles the locale with localedef. |
Created attachment 5343 [details] Locale source Please include the 'petr1708' locale variant (registered in Dec 2010), representing Russian orthography before 1918. It should facilitate processing of texts of said period. Attached locale contains a proper sorting order and transcribed LC_TIME section for sake of completeness. Obviously other parts has no bearing to its purpose and linked to modern ru_RU values.
