The simplest way is to create a temporary tree and use xx:node-set() to
do the lookup:
<xsl:variable name="dict">
<entry key="k1" value="v1"/>
<entry key="k2" value="v2"/>
</xsl:variable>
xx:node-set($dict)/entry[@key=$x]/@value
or use xsl:key for faster access if the table is large.
