Hello,
I am new to xml/xsl world and facing some basic problems. I have heard that this is one of the best list for xsl and I am thanking you in advance for your support.
I have the following xml and xsl files and I expect a formatted text to be displayed on IE. Instead IE is displaying text without any formatting. What is wrong here?
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='iso-8859-1'?>
<?xml-stylesheet type='text/xsl' href='testxml.xsl'?>
<document>
<test> testing </test>
</document>
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<xsl:stylesheet
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform/1.0"
xmlns:fo="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format/1.0">
<xsl:template match="/">
<fo:root xmlns:fo = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Format/1.0">
<fo:layout-master-set>
<fo:simple-page-master page-master-name="only">
<fo:region-body/>
</fo:simple-page-master>
</fo:layout-master-set>
<fo:page-sequence>
<fo:sequence-specification>
<fo:sequence-specifier-single
page-master-name="only"/>
</fo:sequence-specification>
</fo:page-sequence>
</fo:root>
</xsl:template>
<xsl:template match="document/test">
<fo:block font-family="serif" font-weight="bold" text-align="center"
font-size="20pt" color="black">
<xsl:value-of select="."/>
</fo:block>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
