I see your point but that's not part of our plans right now, the MIF
constructs that we need to generate are sufficiently simple to do them
"by hand".
For the XML-to-MIF direction: let me know if you'd like to
build something on our java MIF-writing library, and I'll see if we can
release it as open-source.
