Hello,
we have just made available:
Zvon Character Search
Main features:
- searches Unicode 3.1 characters and writes out a selection of
properties from Unicode database.
- determines if the character can be used in XML documents, in names of
elements and as the first letter of the name
- contains character entities from HTML 4.01 and MathML 2.0
specifications, which are searchable
- search by both hexadecimal and decimal code
- search by 1 byte character, most ASCII characters have also looks like
field which
lists visually similar characters, e.g. character reference for
COPYRIGHT SIGN can be
found by searching for character "c"
- if the search term is an entity, e.g. "
" , " ", or "©"
, it is automatically recognized as a search of relevant type, a
convenient shortcut for cut and paste technology
