But why are you writing a script extension function to do this, rather
than just use XSLT?
Don't you just want something like
<xsl:template match="nodelistBook">
<a href="http:\\s1cf013\irg_dev\d_debug?xxx={.}">
<xsl:value-of select="."/>
</a>
</xsl:template>
