It's NaN. number() doesn't recognise 'Infinity' or '-Infinity' as
numbers, despite the fact that string(1 div 0) is 'Infinity'.
Interestingly, MSXML4 has msxsl:number(), which recognises 'INF' and
'-INF' as Infinity and -Infinity; it looks like this is to give
support for xs:float and xs:double data types from XML Schema.
