Putting a carriage return/line feed for output

Hello,

How can you put a carriage-return/line-feed from the XSL so that the output 
is broken up into lines?  Is there another way to accomplish this?

<xsl:output method="text" encoding="ISO-8859-9"/>

<xsl:value-of select="KEY"/>=<xsl:value-of select="VALUE"/>
</xsl:template>

</xsl:stylesheet>

I need to insert a line break after each key=value pair output!  It also has 
to be in output=text format to keep the format only to text and nothing to 
do with html!
