I opened pr 11441 as a place to discuss the necessary steps toward
removing "experimental" from the client/server and unprivileged user
implementation. I now realize that I never formally announced this or
invited anyone to participate, which would be one reason for the lack of
comments so far :-p
So, if you're interested in the future of the client/server and/or
unprivileged user support, please read my initial thoughts (attached to
the pr) and add your comments and ideas.
