Would it be possible to remove the original FC7 stap (i.e. 'yum erase
systemtap systemtap-runtime')? That might solve some of your problems.
If you can't, you might try setting the following environment variables
(see 'man stap' for details): SYSTEMTAP_TAPSET and SYSTEMTAP_RUNTIME
before running stap.
