Hello,

why does the subject say "committed" ? this hasn't been committed,
so using that tag makes no sense and is just confusing.

I thought it did:
[master 0b1697b] Locale fr_CH and it_CH: change first day of the week
 2 files changed, 8 insertions(+)

It didn't ?

Would it be possible to change the locale fr_CH and it_CH to have monday as the first day of the week ?

do you have links to standards to justify the change ?
we like to note this info for reference/historical tracking.

As it was accepted already for de_CH, I thought it would be also for fr_CH and if_CH.
I asked a few people about a reference that monday was the first day of the week, but nobody can find it.

Monday as the first day of the week is normal for us since a very long time.

we don't use signed-off-by here, but regardless of that, using "xxx" here
is both incorrect and pointless. we already have your e-mail address and
contact info since you sent this e-mail to the list.

Yes just saw that, sorry.
I am used to mailing list hiding the email address for the people sending an email to it and just showing the username we chose when we subsrcribed to it.
