Here, I was worried about potential compatibility issues in case any
program relied on the existing behavior. Does anyone else have an
opinion either way?
P.S.: Do you plan to do further testing of release/2.11/master, and
in what time master? Whoever else is interested in the branch, if you
could let me know about your testing plans, that would be great so that
we can coordinate testing and release.
