- Subject: 2.11.2: Call for testing
Hello!
I have pushed out a batch of cherry-picked bugfixes from the master
branch to release/2.11/master and would like to ask all interested
parties for review, testing and suggestions on the contents of the
branch. If there are no dissenting voices, I would like to tag 2.11.2
in about a week.
I have focused mainly on bugfixes of the obviously correct kind;
I have omitted some more complex fixes (mainly the prelink fix by Jakub
and the sequence of setxid-related commits by Ulrich and Andreas) since
the patches look rather dangerous and the problems don't seem to be that
critical - but if anyone feels they are essential to have, we could
reconsider.
P.S.: Andreas, are you planning to start maintaining the 2.12 stable
branch once master becomes 2.12.99?
Kind regards,
