The code is maintained but nothing but critical patches will cause any
work to be done.  All non-critical changes will appear in the next release.

The good news is that we don't really need to apply critical changes
since nothing like this came up.  Hence the branches appear unmaintained.

If you want to more bug fixes, then either backport them yourself or use
the work Jakub does on the Fedora branch.  That's nothing which is
needed or wanted for official releases.
