Re: FYI, GIT mirror of glibc's cvs repository

None of this concern about where the pages are or about making cute
pictures has addressed any of the real pressing problems we have.
I think some focus on the actual meaningful content of the libc
pages and a plan to make sure they stay up to date would be a better
use of everyone's time and energy.
My proposed layout for the master glibc site would be:
- Tiny Intro blurb (there)
- News (not there)
* List the 5-10 most recent news entries.
* Pre-populate with top 5 entries from NEWS.
- Availability (there)
- Contributing (not there)
* Discuss which mailing lists are appropriate and
how to get involved.
- Bug database. (there)
- Mailing lists (there)
We should get in the habit of updating news when:
- Interesting new user visible feature is checked in.
- A release is made.
