Our work is well along and ready to submitt, but we are waiting on the
acceptance of Jakub's "long double IEEE double -> quad switch" patch
<http://sources.redhat.com/ml/libc-alpha/2004-07/msg00026.html> or
something like it. And I think Jukub is wating on Ulrich's acceptance of
such a patch.
Seems like the transition to gcc-4.0/glibc-2.4 is a good time to introduce
such a change?
