undefined non-weak symbols

Jakub,
I recall you mentioned that when prelink reports a shared library
has undefined non-weak symbols in it that while the file is prelinkable
it is may not be done optimally. I was wondering under what
circumstances such undefined non-weak symbols get introduced into
a shared library and if there is any best practices we can adopt to
avoid them as well as eliminate the current ones. Thanks in advance
for any information on this.
