I'm wondering if I'm the only one who has this problem? I mean - isn't
there anybody else out there building a cross chain which is used for a
target which is mounted over NFS or burned into a flash?

Strange enough that all documents I found on the net have something like
"this section has to be written" when it comes to cross-gcc.

Is there a possibility to configure the glibc package so that only
ld-2.2.5.so is built? Then I could go to a separate objdir, configure
again with the other prefix and build only ld.so. I tried to find
something like a special target for that in the makefiles but didn't
succeed.
