Sorry, I'm getting to hostile here.  I did a substantual amount of
analysis, work, and testing on this in my job.  It is no longer
needed, and I am willing to work to put this into glibc if you are
interested.  If you are not interested, then that's fine, just say you
are not interested in something like this right now.  That's what I
was asking.
