Correct, other than HJ and CVS, there is no official release.

Yes, correct....BUT....up to this point MIPS has been broken anyway
because the binutils for MIPS has been generating IRIX flavored binaries
currently and as HJ mentioned, we don't have a huge install base. I
am working with Florian who maintains Debian and it won't be a problem.
I am also working with the Brad for Agenda Computing to use the fixed
MIPS tools and he is willing to recompile if need be. MIPS has not been
correct up to this point, let's get it right.
