Uli and Michael,
this patch is broken:
* sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/sys/param.h (MAXHOSTNAMELEN): Define.
Patches by Michael Keezer <mkeezer@redhat.com>.
I now get tons of these warnings:
In file included from ../sunrpc/rpc/types.h:67,
from ../include/rpc/types.h:1,
from /builds/glibc/20000912-main/sunrpc/rpc-proto.c:1:
../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/sys/param.h:67:26: warning: "MAXHOSTNAMELEN" redefined
/usr/include/asm/param.h:18:8: warning: this is the location of the previous definition
Michael, what's the reason for this patch? Are you sure that this
patch is needed for linux - and not only for aix as all your other
patches?
I propose to revert the patch,
Andreas
