I just did it again today (after reboot) and it worked just fine...
It seems I was hit by some memory corruption :(
Happens to me sometimes on heavy disk activity. Looks like the kernel for
Linux/m68k isn't quite as stable as on Linux/x86.

Yes, I already saw that after I sent out the mail. I didn't get why time_t
wasn't declated either, looking at the source.

Yes, got it straight from sourceware.
Anyway, it seems to be fine now. At least it's building again. If
'make check' works you won't hear from me again, about this release :)
