Hi,
I'm trying to push on with using Kawa as a plugin language for web
apps.
By the way, Kawa has a mechanism to compile applications on the fly,
and automatically re-compile when the source file is changed. This is
partly designed for web applications. For example look at this simple
how-to: http://www.gnu.org/software/qexo/simple-xquery-webapp.html
It uses the XQuery language rather than Scheme, but the same mechanism
is available for all core Kawa languages. I'm in the midst of making
improvements to Kawa-for-the-web (including support the Echo2
framework), but I've paused it while I'm working on fixing XQuery
bugs for a release. But it's high on the list. (The web application
stuff may be a little unstable in the current SVN tree, but please try
it out.)
