I would second that. From a usability point of view it's good to have a navigational bar that doesn't change. 
I think of the navigation bar as a tool with which I control whats inside the content area. It's confusing when you click the navigation bar to affect the content area and the navigation bar itself changes. Therefore the 'prev' and 'next' buttons that appear should be separate from the navigation bar - perhaps at the bottom of the left side area or inside the content area like it's customary in howto-docs.

I second that too. I found my self looking for a home button after clicking 'download' - to restore the situation to what it was. I was not (blush) able to figure out that I should click 'KAWA'. It does not have the appearence of a link.

Also I almost always look for a search facility when I enter a site, so I think that would be nice to have. Perhaps this is not design but rather content, though
