source not being displayed in Insight

Subject: source not being displayed in Insight

I have been using Insight 5.3 for the past month.  Yesterday the source no longer showed up when I would restart Insight.  I have to copy the executable to a new name every time I restart Insight to work on the same executable and then the source shows.  When I bring up the console window, I can list the source through GDB.  There must be some obvious configuration problem that I am missing.
