Can you elaborate? What sources are you using? What does "uname -a"
show? What does "gcc -v" show?
I just checked out CVS HEAD and built using Cygwin 1.3.19 (gcc 3.2
20020927 prerelease) and it built without complaint. (Oh dear, I did it
again. I said, "It works for me!". Shame on me.)
