Dunno much about multithreading, etc. (been a while since I touched a thread) but if you want Guile to run on Win32, you may want to try compiling it using Cygnus's GNU-Win32 tools. This is a set of GNU-derived tools that give a GNUish environment under Windows 95 and Windows NT. gcc/g++ is included. If you can fiddle around with it, you may have some guile binaries to work with. One hitch: it requires a special DLL but that's freely distributable. If I don't catch any flamage for plugging a "competing" product, might I suggest Perl. Its syntax is a little weird but it's portable, free, and embeddable. NT ports exist. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jeff Read <bitwize@geocities.com>/ http://genpc.home.ml.org Unix / Linux / Windows Hacker, / Boycott Microsoft!
