May be I should have mentioned that the book will be in German. So,=20
for most of you, the book will be of no interest. Sorry, but if the book
will sell in Germany, Springer will have no problems to publish an
English translation. Ok,  I will have to improve my English...

I understand, but since the source code of the programs is printed in
the text I want to keep the code as short as possible (and understable...=
).

I probably will go for this solution - translating the GPL (or relevant p=
arts
of it) to German and include in an appendix.
