Thank you for reporting this! This was fixed in 2.30 development with the
following commits: 97f8225d22ef727ae9935cc231643efdc430d530,
711a322a235d4c8177713f11aa59156603b94aeb. Nobody has asked for these to be
backported to 2.29 because they are just testing fixes. I'm marking this as
RESOLVED/FIXED since it's fixed in master and will be a part of the 2.30
release. If you need backports to stable branches please discuss on
libc-alpha@sourceware.org.
