Bug ID: 22910
Summary: Alpha: backtrace yields infinite backtrace with
makecontext with GCC 8
Product: glibc
Version: 2.28
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: libc
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: aurelien at aurel32 dot net
CC: drepper.fsp at gmail dot com
Target Milestone: ---
Host: alpha-linux-gnu
Target: alpha-linux-gnu
Build: alpha-linux-gnu
The tst-makecontext test fails on Alpha when libgcc1 built from GCC 8 is used.
It happens that this version is better at unwinding on alpha than the one from
GCC 7.
This is basically the same bug than #18508 but for alpha.
