I think multi-arch ldconfig would be reasonable, but it is a difficult
project requiring a lot of work to build consensus and to demonstrate that
the changes are correct in the context of the glibc community's
understanding of consensus and of the full list of supported ABIs - the
opposite of how you have approached such issues lately. It would probably
need to be led by an experienced glibc community member with a history of
working well with the community on such issues.
