English locale for Israel
The majority of people of Israel speak English, and many of them prefer using
it when it comes to computers. Today, most of them resort to using either en_US
or en_GB, both have incompatibilities with conventions used by Israelis, such
as date format, measure system (en_US), first day of week and first workday,
spelling (en_GB).
Therefore, I propose a new English locale for Israel, aimed to solve these
incompatibilities.
I've attached the proposed locale. As the locale copies from others where
possible, it relies on https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=18896
(which was fixed two days ago) to have proper currency symbol in LC_MONETARY.
Attached is the en_IL file I created.
