Bug #: 14910
Summary: soft-fp ordered comparisons should raise exceptions
for quiet NaNs
Product: glibc
Version: 2.16
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: soft-fp
AssignedTo: unassigned@sourceware.org
ReportedBy: jsm28@gcc.gnu.org
CC: joseph@codesourcery.com
Classification: Unclassified
The ordered comparisons in soft-fp, such as __lesf2, should raise the INVALID
exception if either operand is a quiet NaN, not just for signaling NaN
operands. (The existing logic, raising the exception only for signaling NaNs,
is correct for equality comparisons such as __eqsf2, but not for those
implementing < / > / <= / >=.)
