I've applied the spelling and word selection fixes.
wrt comment#2, the statement has a sensible meaning that is correct, though
I'll grant that the wording is a bit awkward. If you would like to propose a
more clear way to express that sentence, please do so either in a separate bug
report with an appropriate subject line, or just send a patch to the
libc-alpha@sourceware.org mailing list.
