This proves that a) you're an idiots and b) are to the highest degree egotistical.
The current behavior is correct, widely used, existing practice on all platforms
which try to adhere to standards. And yet you want a change because some other
system where the authors never spend a second thinking about standards does it
differently and you've written your code to match that expectation.
