Since glibc and all external uses now assume C89, we should remove the
old-style function declarations from regex.h too. Note that the glibc 2.3.5
code is not portable to (admittedly weird) C89 hosts where size_t is narrower
than int, since you can't use a function prototype with a size_t argument
and follow that with an old-style function definition with a size_t argument.
So the existing code wasn't portable to all possible C89 hosts anyway.
I'll attach a patch.
