Hello,
The branch for the next major release of GDB is scheduled to be cut:
BRANCH: 2002-03-03-gmt (Sunday March 3)
The branch will then be given a chance to stablize. The release is
scheduled to occure 5 weeks (approx 1 month) after the
branch date on:
RELEASE: 2002-04-07-gmt (Sunday April 7)
Now is a good time to update the files:
NEWS: new features and changes
PROBLEMS: things that are broken or do not build
and do things like check that GDB still builds for your favorite
target.
Now is probably not the time for dramatic change.

GDB is on a 4 month (17 week) release cycle. The
next release will be on or around 2002-07-21-gmt (Sunday July 21).
[I think I've fixed the GDB release schedule cron job. Everything above
looks correct :-) Andrew]
