Re: Wiggler (OCD) support for Atmel ARM7TDMI EB40 board

Wai-Sun,

The only support for the wiggler in GDB is via the ocd site. They have
versions of the GNU toolset and GDB/Insight that operate with the wiggler,
and I use that version of GDB. The wiggler interface is done via a dll and
the source code for that is not available from Macraigor. There are some
patches available from odcdemon to allow the use of GDB and the wiggler dll,
I tried to patch GDB but was unable to get a version of the software to
function. There have been some discussions about the wiggler and GDB and
whether the code should be incorporated into the main GDB tree but there
don't appear to be any conclusions.

Hope this helps

Andy Hare
www.ahare.btinternet.co.uk - for a version of the GNU toolset running under
cygwin on windows.
