I noticed sourceforge just added something like that, although I
haven't looked at it yet.  It strikes me as a great idea (especially
if you think about adding things like "check this box if you tested it
on platform Y" or voting for "this patch sounds useful" or whatever).

I'm sure the suggestions of Stan and others are more relevant to the
immediate problem of what to do with the Pascal GDB patches, though.
